It was impressive to see a large number of students receiving awards in various areas at our formal assembly at the end of Term 1.
After the school captains provided a welcome and an Acknowledgement to Country, and the Principal’s Address was given the awards presentations began.
The Community Service Awards for Clean Up Australia were presented to James W, Brooke K and Jaime R.
Sari J received the Duke of Edinburgh Award.
Eighteen students received a Positive Behaviour for Learning award for Respect, Responsibility or Aspiration.
It was fantastic to see that 100% Attendance Awards were presented to 30 students and the Swimming Age Champions awards presented to students that were 1st and Runner Up in each age group.
Szaffi T and Kayden A received the Careers Award for excellence in work experience and work placement.
Our talented music students provided exceptional musical performances throughout the assembly.
Congratulations to the students who received an award and well done to all students who displayed exemplary behaviour during the assembly.
