Information for year 11 and 12 regarding study periods, leaving school during the day and Tuesday afternoon arrangements 2023
Senior students are expected to arrive at school by 8:55am and attend roll call on time. If you are late, you will need to check in with one of the Deputy Principals, then get a late slip from the front office.
You are expected to attend all your timetabled lessons on time. In the event that your teacher is absent, still go to your timetabled room, as there may be a casual teacher appointed to your class or one of the senior executive may take your class. In the event that there is no teacher available, you are to go to the senior study area in the library and use your time to do constructive study.
Senior students can leave school on Tuesday afternoons at 12:55 pm and Wednesday week B period 6 without getting a leave pass from the office. If you have any “N” awards, you will give up this right and will need to complete the work in the library.
The school strongly encourages students who find it difficult to study at home to remain at school and use the library. If you are staying at school during these times, you will need to sign on in the library and get a leave pass if you leave before 3:15pm.
If you have study periods throughout the week, you are to go to the senior study area in the library and use your time wisely.
During exam periods, you may go home without getting a leave pass.
Students driving their cars are only to have passengers whose parents have given written permission to the school allowing their child to travel in a car driven by you. You need to complete/provide registration details to the office.
If you need to go to an appointment throughout the week, you are to speak to a Deputy prior for approval to leave, then get a leave pass from the front office.
