Principal's welcome

Moruya High School is truly a fantastic comprehensive High School on the South Coast of NSW. We are privileged to live and learn surrounded by the pristine rivers, lakes, ocean, mountains and farmlandson the traditional lands of the Brinja people of the Yuin nation. Our Totem is the Black Duck (Umbarra in Dhurga, the language of the Walbunja people). Every day, students come here demonstrating our core values of Respect, Responsibility and Aspiration.
Our mission is to ensure that every student is known, valued and cared for throughout their high school years. We are passionate about providing opportunities for students to thrive in academic, sport, performing and visual arts and leadership opportunities.
Our school is in partnership with our feeder public schools through our community of schools and the Bermagui to the Bay initiatives, to promote a student voice, leadership and opportunities for High Potential and Gifted students.
Our wonderful Aboriginal students are supported in their education and cultural experiences through the Clontarf Academy for boys and the STARS Foundation for girls. Our Aboriginal students are highly valued and they enrich our school community with their cultural knowledge, and unique contributions.
It is a privilege to lead Moruya High School. Our dedicated staff form positive relationships with students through school, that continue post school and support them to achieve success across a range of pathways.
Moruya High School is the first-choice school in the Eurobodalla for nurturing and developing teenagers for the future.
