Moruya High School Science
We have a proud tradition of high achievement in Science. We consistently have high participation in senior science subjects which include; Biology, Chemistry, Physics, Earth and Environmental Science and Agriculture. Many students who complete science studies at Moruya High move onto tertiary study in a scientific field. Our students achieve entry into courses including medicine, veterinary science, engineering and many other science fields.
The faculty has experienced teachers in all subject areas and learning is enhanced by access to five well-equipped laboratories, extensive agriculture and aquaculture facilities and an enthusiastic and dedicated staff. These facilities give students the opportunity to participate in practical learning experiences in and out of class. These complement junior programs that are designed to give students a solid foundation in Science.
The excellent facilities, dedicated staff and quality programs give students the opportunity to excel in Science and to qualify for placements within science faculties at numerous universities.
