Year 11 Business Studies Excursion - Balance Holistic Fitness

Students in Year 11 Business Studies visited Balance Holistic Fitness in Broulee on Wednesday June 26. Students had the opportunity to interview the Managing Director, Jess, about a range of topics. Students received insight into what the business does, the legal structure, influences (internal and external), the marketing plan, how the business uses financial statements, and approach to human resources. The questions were developed by the students and aligns to the content being taught in class. It provided an opportunity to the course theory to be brought to life in world examples. Jess was very hospitable to the students and also organised a delicious morning tea for students.
