Year 6 students from Broulee Public, Moruya Public, Bodalla Public and St Mary’s Primary schools attended an orientation day on Wednesday 27 November.
The day was designed to provide a genuine reflection of life at the school, giving students a chance to experience a typical day at Moruya High. They took part in a range of exciting and engaging activities. In PDHPE, students participated in fun sporting games that encouraged teamwork, physical activity, and healthy competition. During a Science class they worked with solutions to create bubbles, exploring scientific principles in a hands-on, interactive way. Students engaged in mapping activities that focused on our local area, deepening their understanding of the environment around them in a Geography class. In Digital Technology, students embraced their creativity by designing 3D digital masterpieces using state-of-the-art technology, showcasing their talents with cutting-edge tools.
The day was a fantastic opportunity for students to bond and experience the many exciting aspects of life at Moruya High School. We look forward to welcoming them next year, where they will continue to grow and thrive in our vibrant and supportive school community.
