Bovine Kidney Dissection

Three students dissecting

Students of Year 12 biology class reinforced their understanding of kidney anatomy and function by undertaking a dissection of bovine kidneys.

The task helped students clearly see the blood vessels entering and diverging through the kidney and allowed students to connect the theory learnt in class to the real-world organ.
