Earthquake-Resistant Buildings

Year 12 Earth and Environmental Science students have been studying the cause and impacts of natural hazards. Groups were tasked with constructing an earthquake-proof building from basic materials which would need to stand against a simulated earthquake. As an added challenge, the groups were also competing to construct the tallest building within the allotted timeframe.
