Year 7 Explores Chromatography with a Splash of Colour

Miss Mood's year 7 science class investigated the movement of different pigments using chromatography paper last week.

After discovering that more dense pigments remained at the bottom of the paper and less dense pigments moved to the top, they decided to experiment with this movement and create 'chromatography art' with assorted colours and placement of water to create cool patterns.
