Support Unit Students Thrive in Pottery Sessions

students at pottery workshop

Support unit students at Moruya High School have been enthusiastically participating in pottery sessions hosted by local artist, Will Burtenshaw, at his pottery studio in Mogo. These sessions have provided students with a unique and exciting opportunity to express themselves creatively, while developing new skills in a hands-on learning environment.

Throughout the sessions, students have shown great respect and enthusiasm for the artistic process, fully engaging in every aspect of pottery-making. Whether it was shaping clay on the wheel or carefully crafting intricate designs, the students embraced the chance to try something new and express their creativity.

The support unit team is incredibly proud of how the students have participated with such positivity and commitment. The pottery sessions have been an excellent opportunity for the students to develop patience, fine motor skills, and the ability to follow instructions while having a ton of fun.

We look forward to seeing the finished products and continuing to support our students in engaging in diverse and enriching experiences like this.
