Support Unit Students Shine During Equine Therapy Sessions

support unit students at equine therapy

At Moruya High School we are incredibly proud of our support unit students who recently participated in equine therapy sessions. Throughout the program, these students engaged positively and respectfully, showing tremendous growth in their social and emotional skills.

Equine therapy, facilitated by the wonderful Bec Colebrook from Bec's Place, offered our students a unique opportunity to connect with horses in a therapeutic setting. The students who took part in the program benefitted greatly, developing increased confidence, patience, and empathy through their interactions with the horses. It was inspiring to see them build trust and form meaningful bonds with these gentle animals.

A huge thank you to Bec Colebrook for running such an outstanding program with our students. Your dedication and expertise have made a significant impact, and we are grateful for the positive experiences you have provided for our students.

We look forward to continuing our partnership with Bec's Place and providing more opportunities for our students to learn and grow through equine therapy.
