Year 9 Geography Students Savour Edible Insects

Students in Year 9 Geography taste tested a range of edible insects in the last week of Term 2. This complemented the food security topic students had been learning in the course. Edible insects are one sustainable long term solution to achieve food security. They are rich in protein, have low environmental impact, and are scalable. That being said, students found the texture and taste "interesting".
