After arriving in Tokyo, students on the Japan Trip spent the first two days exploring Tokyo, followed by Disneyland on the Monday.
Other areas visited in Tokyo included Akihabara, known for its electronics and anime culture; Harajuku, which is known for colourful street art and youth fashion; and the Tokyo Sky Tree, which is the world’s tallest tower at 634 metres to capture fantastic views of Tokyo.
Students also visited the Meiji-jingu (famous shrine) and the Sensoji temple - a famous landmark/ temple.
