A select group of lucky students are involved in a community program called Thrive. This program aims to engage students in community initiatives. This term students are working with staff from the Eurobodalla Shire Council and WIRES to rejuvenate wildlife habitat by building nesting boxes for native brushtail possums. The work students are doing will rehome injured brushtail possums as they are re-introduced into surrounding bushland. Courtney Fink, a local council representative has generously offered her time to educate students about endangered wildlife species, as well as providing crucial funds to support the project. Our students are excited to learn new skills and develop a stronger connection to community by participating in the program.
