Repurposing for Resilience

Earth and Environmental Science students visited @Repurposing for Resilience Eurobodalla Inc to investigate the work they do in promoting the reuse and repurposing of solar panel waste. Students were shown around the site by Lisa and Stephen and observed many potential uses for a waste item growing in volume. Students heard first-hand how solar panels are assessed for potential reuse in agricultural products and off-grid power systems. A range of novel solutions for panels such as charging tables was also observed. A big thank you to Lisa and Stephen for talking with our students and showing us around.
