Moruya was represented in the Open Boys and Girls Touch Football gala day on Tuesday 1st April by an enthusiastic and skilful group of students on a sunny day in Braidwood.
The girls were very keen to learn their skills from Mr Roberts and improved with every game. As a young team he thinks there will be success over the next couple of years with this group. They had a win over Braidwood Central School, and had some close losses to Batemans Bay, Bombala and Monaro. Standout payers included Rhiarla, Tyra, Amy and Grace.
The boys were unlucky to miss the final with good wins against Bombala and Braidwood, a draw against Monaro and a loss to Batemans Bay. Mr McNaughton was particularly impressed by Bluey, Cooper M and Kayden.
