At our awards assembly in December 2024, former student Dean Bottle gave the yearly alumni speech and noted that he held the record for the 16 yrs Boys 100m Butterfly in 1995.
Dean declared at the assembly that he would give a cash prize to a student who could beat his record.
On Tuesday 18 February during our annual swimming carnival that record which has been standing for 30 years was broken by Xavier M.
Dean visited our school assembly on Monday and presented Xavier with a $500 cash prize.
Congratulations to Xavier and a huge thank you to Dean Bottle for your prize and inspiring our students.
