Aspiring school-aged artists from Eurobodalla were invited to enter the Little Sellers Art Prize 2024 for a chance to win great prizes and have their work included in an exhibition in the Bas gallery. The theme this year was "You're the voice" and participants were encouraged to interpret the theme creatively in a way that is meaningful to them.
Moruya High School had seven student finalists chosen for the exhibition who were invited to the opening and morning tea at "The Bas" on Monday, the final chosen works were all high calibre and showcased varying mediums and techniques.
Congratulations to the following students who represented the school as finalists Jessica R, Sina R, Lotus T, Ivy I, Kusum G, Amy R, Alison M.
A huge Congratulations to out three prize winning students Lotus T who took out runner up in the year 11-12 category, Jessica R who was awarded the Youth Services Prize and Alison M who not only took out the Winner of her age group but also the Overall winner of the entire little Sellers Art Competition.
What an amazing experience for all students involved and another success for the Arts at MHS!
