Tasty Smoked Trout

Students from the Marine studies class have been learning about food preservation and value adding. They caught trout from the school fish farm and gutted, brined and hot smoked them with maple wood chips. Students sampled the finished product and the positive comments meant the project was a great success. They were also able to take a smoked fish home.
