State Snowsports Interschools Championships

Last week, Rex L (ski), Tristan H (snowboard) and Leo L (snowboard) represented Moruya in the State Snowsports Interschools championships at Perisher.  Leo competed in slopestyle and giant slalom, and Rex and Tristan competed in the giant slalom.  Rex had one of his best races, narrowly missing qualification for the nationals by 2 seconds.  Leo unfortunately was not able to complete a clean run and had crashes in both of his events, missing out on national qualification in the giant slalom by just one second.  Tristan followed up his form from last year, qualifying for the national titles for the second year in a row. Well done boys, and good luck to Tristan next week at the Nationals.
