Powerful Conclusion to the EES/Geography Excursion
14 Nov 2022
The final day of the EES/Geography excursion ended with an electrifying visit to the Mt Piper Power Station. Students toured the facility and learnt about electricity generation from coal and how the power station sites owned by Energy Australia near Lithgow are innovating for the future. Students were also treated to a surprise visit from a brother of a staff member who is contracted at the site. Can you guess which staff member from the photos?
Mr Edenborough and Mr Kelly were very impressed with the students' behaviour and the way they represented the school during the 3 days. Thank you to Janet Waters for her time and enthusiasm in supporting the trip.
