yr 11 students science prac

Year 11 Earth and Environmental Science students have been learning about the different geological features found at plate boundaries. During Friday's lesson, students simulated what happens to rock and sediment layers when two plates collide. The simple model revealed the presence of reverse faults in the rock layers and helped demonstrate their formation using a hands-on exercise.
